SCOPE
1.1.This method covers the determination of the degree of solubility in trichloroethylene or
1, l, 1 trichloroethane of asphalt materials having little or no mineral matter.
The portion that is soluble in trichloroethylene or 1, l, 1 trichloroethane represents the active cementing constituents.
1.2. The values stated in SI units are to be regarded as the standard.
