SCOPE
1.1.These methods cover the quantitative determination of asphalt binder in hot mix asphalt (HMA) and HMA pavement samples.
Aggregate obtained by these methods may be used for sieve analysis using T 30.
1.2.The values stated in SI units are to be regarded as the standard.
1.3.This standard may involve hazardous materials, operations, and equipment.
