AASHTO M 148-05 is identical to ASTM C 309-03 except for the following provisions:
l. Section 1.2 of ASTM C 309-03 shall be replaced with the following:
1.2 The values stated in SI units are the preferred standard.
2. All references to ASTM Standards contained in ASTM C 309-03 listed in the following table shall be replaced with the corresponding AASHTO Standard.
